The following are some of the most common services that we provide.

Services

A comprehensive eye examination includes an assessment of vision as well as an evaluation of ocular health. A series of tests is performed to assess visual function. With that information, the doctor determines the best spectacle or contact lens prescription for each patient. In some cases, vision therapy or other visual devices (such as low-vision magnifiers or loupes) may be prescribed. During the ocular health evaluation, intraocular pressure is measured and the eyes are thoroughly examined. With the use of drops, dilation may be performed by enlarging the pupils to allow the doctor to detect/manage problems or disease processes such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, or macular degeneration.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

Most of the same options that are available in glasses are also available to contact lenses—even bifocal corrections. We carry a wide variety of trial contact lenses in stock and can order many custom-fit lenses. We offer colored-contact options as well as hard to fit gas permeable and astigmatic (toric) contacts. During the examination, we are happy to discuss which options might work for you.

Contact Lenses

Our doctors are trained in the evaluation and treatment of eye pain, abrasion, injury, “red-eyes,” flashes and floaters, and contact lens problems. Patients with acute problems are always welcome at our office and we make every effort to ensure these patients receive prompt and appropriate care.

Urgent & Emergency Care

Our optometrists provide convenient pre-operative and post-operative care for patients requiring cataract surgery. We also provide consultation on laser vision correction with interested patients. We can provide information on whether a person is an appropriate candidate based on ocular health and spectacle prescription
